Since its inception, Ivory Community Development (ICD) has been committed to supporting stakeholders in the agricultural sector—particularly those in the cocoa value chain—toward concrete, inclusive, and innovative sustainable development. Our ambition is to make sustainability a lever for social, economic, and environmental transformation by placing people and nature at the heart of our priorities.. Through our programs in traceability, agroforestry, the fight against child labor, community development, improvement of producers’ living conditions, and the modernization of agricultural practices, we work to promote more responsible and efficient production. This modernization is reflected in particular through the establishment of Cocoa Post-Harvest Processing Centers (CTPR) and the provision of mechanical tools that ease farmers’ workloads, reduce physical strain, and limit reliance on child labor. At ICD, we believe in the power of partnership and sustainable innovation. Together with producers, cooperatives, companies, and institutions, we are building fairer, more transparent, and more resilient supply chains that serve the environment, rural communities, and future generations.
